About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Macklin Care Homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met.
  • Participate in activities and events that promote social interaction and engagement among residents.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans that meet residents' individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Current NVQ in care or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of Care of the Elderly Patients Charter of Rights.
  • Experience in a caring background or setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work set hours, including evenings and weekends.
