Exciting Opportunity for a Diesel Generator Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Generator Technician to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a leading provider of recruitment services in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service, we are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of diesel generators, working closely with our experienced service team. With a strong emphasis on training and development, we offer a supportive and dynamic work environment that fosters growth and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on diesel generators
  • Collaborate with external departments and customers to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Service, fault-find, and repair diesel generators to the highest standards
  • Comply with our company's Health and Safety policy
  • Log paperwork accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, or diesel fitting
  • Familiarity with electronic systems and mechanical components, including engines and alternators
  • Ability to apply technical skills in inspection and disassembly
  • Utilization of testing equipment for effective repair and maintenance
