We are seeking a talented and ambitious Junior Buyer to join our Ladies Fashion team at Zachary Daniels. As a Junior Buyer, you will play a key role in driving the success of our ladieswear business, working closely with our Buying team and Head of Fashion to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Buying Strategy: Develop and execute a buying strategy that aligns with our business objectives, including range building and product sourcing.
  • Supplier Management: Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the optimum product, process, and terms of contract.
  • Category Management: Take ownership of critical path and ensure deadlines are met, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Quality Control: Prevent quality problems by considering and solving issues early on, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings with the Buying team and Head of Fashion to ensure key information is communicated and our goals are aligned.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze weekly reports, trading patterns, and other data to identify opportunities and take appropriate action to drive business growth.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and maintain stocks as per KPIs set, managing open-to-buy accordingly to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Buying Trips: Complete buying trips as needed within the UK and overseas to identify new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
  • Competitor and Retail Trends: Stay up-to-date with competitor and retail trends to inform product selection and drive business growth.
  • Brand Strategy: Deliver the brand strategy, providing energy to drive the business forward and deliver innovative ideas for your category.
