Java Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our Software Innovation team at Sanderson Government & Defence. As a primary technical partner of the MOD, we are looking for an individual who can collaborate with our existing team to support the mission of keeping UK Defence agile and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, test, and document new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards.
  • Provide application maintenance and support services to users or service delivery functions.
  • Contribute to solution reviews and schedules, monitors own work with minimal escalation of problems and queries.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of Java development experience within an enterprise.
  • Experience of source control and CI/CD principles.
  • Designs or undertakes impact analysis of medium-size solutions or partial solutions within a large established architecture.
