Job Title: Lead Analyst - Infrastructure

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst to join our team in Greater Manchester Combined Authority. The successful candidate will have experience in GIS visualisation and analysis, appraisal business case development, and a background in planning, infrastructure, or water sectors. The role involves managing water wherever it falls to prevent rainwater from entering the combined sewage system, reducing surface water flood risk and improving water quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake research and analysis, including delivering research projects, appraisals, or business cases.
  • Source, analyse, and present complex geospatial information to specialist and non-specialist audiences to inform policy development and delivery of services.
  • Work with complex geospatial data sets, including data visualisation skills.
  • Present technical material to non-technical audiences.
  • Develop an awareness of the infrastructure policy locally and nationally.
