Retail Team Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Retail Team Driver to join our team. As a Retail Team Driver, you will be responsible for transporting a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the transportation of stock counters to and from each shift
  • Ensure timely and efficient communication with the count team regarding pick-up points and timings
  • Escalate any issues with the vehicle in a timely manner
  • Complete a team attendance sheet detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended, and the arrival time of the bus on site
  • Ensure stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner
  • Stand for prolonged periods of time and use access equipment as needed to reach high stock

Requirements:

  • Full Driving License
  • Ability to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and night shifts
  • Can-do attitude and ability to work long shifts where required
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt to changing technology
  • Experience handling stock is an advantage but not necessary
