Catering Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Nottingham City Council. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the school kitchen and the management of the existing kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals to a high standard
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and COSHH procedures
- Plan and implement menus, ordering and inventory management
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment
- Experience of cooking for large groups, including menu planning, ordering, cooking, and serving
- Ability to manage a team and deliver training and guidance
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and understanding of COSHH procedures
