We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in Edmonton, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Machinery and Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment to meet production targets.
- Assemble Products: Assemble products according to company specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on finished products and report defects to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Production Targets: Ensure production targets and deadlines are met, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Stock Management: Assist with stock management and packing of products, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
- Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet production targets, maintaining attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Physical Fitness: Physical fitness for manual handling tasks, with a willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
