We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Haematology Specialist Nurse to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our Specialist Palliative Care Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-focused care.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide specialist nursing care, advice, and guidance to patients and families
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care
- Lead and manage a team of specialist nurses, providing education and training
- Collaborate with clinical colleagues to develop services and improve care delivery
- Registered Nurse (Part 1) with current NMC registration
- Evidence of MSc level study in specialist area or equivalent experience/training
- Recognised postgraduate study in relevant clinical area
- Expert level of knowledge in clinical specialty
- Knowledge of service improvement and audit
- Non-medical Prescribing (v300) or commitment to completing the NMP qualification
- Teaching qualification or equivalent experience
- Management qualification or equivalent experience
- Advanced clinical skills
- Band 7 experience
- Experience of participating in research
- Welsh speaker (Level 1) desirable
- Flexibility in working pattern to ensure maximum visibility of CNS team
- Ability to travel to all areas of the UHB in a timely manner
