We are seeking a skilled Maths Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Maths lessons to students aged 11-16. They will assess and evaluate student progress, provide individualised support, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver Maths lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities
- Assess and evaluate student progress to ensure understanding and achievement of learning objectives
- Provide individualised support to students as needed, including extra help and feedback
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and performance
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school management
A recognised teaching qualification and a degree in Mathematics or a related field are essential. Previous experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:A postgraduate qualification in Education is desirable.
Working Conditions:The Maths Teacher will work in a secondary school setting, following the school term calendar. The role involves working with students aged 11-16 and collaborating with other teaching staff.
