J. Murphy & Sons Ltd is a leading international, specialist engineering and construction company founded in 1951. We are currently recruiting for a Water Frameworks Manager to join our growing Infrastructure Business Unit in the North West of England.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic, technical, and functional leadership to our commissioning team across mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines, with a focus on water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge and experience of water project delivery within the construction industry, with a strong background in commissioning management.

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 27 days holiday, discretionary annual bonus, and contributory pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and delivery of the strategic commissioning model for the specific water framework and provide routine reporting to the framework leadership team
  • Provide technical assurance and take ownership for the suitability of the project solution throughout the project life cycle
  • Proactive recruitment of new commissioning team members to meet framework demand

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and driven individual to promote and embed consistent commissioning delivery procedures
  • An individual with significant knowledge and experience of water project delivery within the construction industry
  • A recognised qualification in your area of Commissioning delivery related expertise
