About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a valid UK NMC registration to join our team, supporting colleagues to develop skills in palliative and end of life care. This exciting opportunity is based within the education and clinical teams, reporting to the Head of Clinical Services and working with the central Sue Ryder education team.

The successful candidate will develop and support the education and training needs of the clinical healthcare workforce; contributing towards the delivery of the organisational Clinical Education Strategy and Framework. This includes facilitating learning in palliative care and demonstrating clinical expertise and credibility in clinical practice by always being a role model.

We offer a range of opportunities to develop academically and professionally for the successful candidate, including the potential to achieve a teaching qualification. The post requires a working knowledge of training needs analysis, planning and facilitation of adult-based learning, mandatory and priority training requirements. A sound working knowledge of the clinical assessment of registered and non-registered staff is also necessary.
