Residential Care Home Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Residential Care Home Manager to lead our team at Jupiter Recruitment in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care services.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care delivery, promoting resident autonomy and dignity, and ensuring the overall quality of care services.
  • You will work closely with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor resident outcomes, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • You will assume responsibility for running the home in the absence of the home manager, ensuring the wellbeing of staff and residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals and social services to coordinate resident care.
  • Managing budgets and resources to optimize care delivery and maintain a safe environment.
  • Providing guidance and coaching to support staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care.
  • Significant experience of managing a care team, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver high-quality care.
