  • As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be working on customer sites with or without workshop facilities being available for use.

We are looking to add several mobile HGV technicians to our team based in Stafford and the surrounding area. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles and possess a UK valid driving license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine servicing, inspections, and subsequent repairs to trucks and commercial vehicles.
  • Conduct visual checks to locate worn parts.
  • Carry out technical inspections using diagnostic techniques to find and repair defective machine parts.
  • Undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports.

Requirements:

Previous experience as an HGV mechanic.Valid UK driver's license.

What We Offer:

The successful applicant can expect a salary of approximately £40,000 per annum, including van, fuel card, mobile phone benefits and overtime paid at 1.5 times the rate. Our pension scheme offers 6% employer and 5% employee contributions, death in service insurance, and three times annual salary life assurance cover.
