Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Country Pub Supervisor to join our team at The Horse & Jockey. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the pub, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Managing a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high standards of food and drink quality;">
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff;">
  • Managing stock levels and inventory to minimize waste and maximize profits;">
  • Implementing effective marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer numbers;">
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experience.">

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in a similar role, with experience in managing staff, driving sales growth, and maintaining high standards of customer service;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers;">
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of the business;">
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices;">
  • Availability to attend training sessions and workshops to develop your skills and knowledge.">

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £53,741 per year, plus a range of benefits, including a generous annual turnover of £813,605 and a deposit of £13,435.
