About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Test Engineer to join our team at zeroG - AI in Aviation. As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our aviation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide second-line support to field service engineers and colleagues to review system and log information to identify technical root cause analysis (RCA) of problems.
  • Write detailed RCA reports for use by the development team in the identification and repair of software issues.
  • Help specify, plan, maintain, optimize, and diagnose deployments of our software applications on Windows clients and servers within the customer's environment.
  • Working with Azure DevOps, manage and prioritize the backlog and lifecycle of issues.
  • Support the entire software development lifecycle, including debugging, quality assurance, and installation/deployment.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in hardware/electronics testing and troubleshooting/system engineering testing and troubleshooting or related testing experience (but willing to consider a graduate with relevant education).
  • Competence in communicating in the English language both orally and in writing.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Building workstations from scratch, either for work or home, installing Windows, upgrading hardware.
  • Interest or experience in programming, ideally C# or any OOP language.
  • Azure DevOps.
  • Good understanding of computer networking and operating systems.
