About the Role
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Digital Programme & Projects team.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering digital projects across clinical sites, working closely with stakeholders and teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
You will be responsible for leading and managing project teams, providing task management, mentoring, and support training requirements as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of planning and managing complex projects, including direct and indirect management of staff, issue and change management, and stakeholder relationship management.
In addition, you will have experience of digital project management within a public sector setting and knowledge of the procurement process, particularly in relation to Digital and/or IT procurement.
We are looking for a Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent experience/knowledge holder with evidence of continued professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead project teams to deliver digital projects across clinical sites
- Provide task management, mentoring, and support training requirements as appropriate
- Identify and manage risks associated with projects using relevant project documentation and developed approaches
- Translate technical information to stakeholders and teams
