Job Title: Finance Modelling Assistant Manager

Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Finance Modelling Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Deals & Business Consulting business, you will be responsible for planning and developing financial models and tools for clients to use for forecasting and business planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop financial models and tools for clients
  • Use and adapt models to perform sensitivity and scenario analysis
  • Review the modelling work of junior team members
  • Understand the results of models and engage with clients and colleagues
  • Review financial models built by clients and their advisers
  • Play an active role in model design discussions

Requirements:

  • Experience in a directly comparable Big 4 or similar modelling team
  • Currently holding a manager or equivalent grade
  • Excellent Excel proficiency and familiarity with advanced techniques
  • Strong understanding of modelling best practice ideas
  • Highly numerate with strong communication skills
