Job Title: Year 5/6 Class Teacher in Islington

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced and strong primary teacher with QTS for a Year 5/6 class teacher position in Islington. The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working in primary schools in the UK and good interpersonal skills.

Job Description:
  • Create engaging lessons based on planned objectives, considering differentiation to ensure progression in students' learning.
  • Create clear targets, considering prior attainment.
  • Fulfil the school's and national assessment requirements, maintaining accurate records and reporting student progress appropriately.
  • Manage Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in the classroom.
  • Actively engage in primary school duties, including supervising playtimes and leading whole school and class assemblies.
Requirements:
  • Hold QTS status.
  • Have recent experience of working in primary schools in the UK.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
  • Show good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
