The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our New Business Acquisition team as the Head of New Business Acquisition. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through the development and execution of strategic partnerships with global retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple high-profile new business development projects simultaneously, coordinating various work streams and acting as the senior project lead for commercial aspects.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, including market research, competitor analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Ocado leadership, regional presidents, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful sales activities and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date on global retail trends and the shift to online channels, ensuring your team's knowledge is current and relevant.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic leader with a strong track record in business development, particularly within the retail and grocery sectors. You will have:

  • Extensive experience in top-tier strategy consulting or business development, with a strong understanding of the retail and grocery markets.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills, with a strong sense of ownership and action-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills, with experience in data handling, analytics, and financial modeling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
