Senior Molecular Biologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Molecular Biologist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a global leader in scientific research and innovation, we are dedicated to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

The successful candidate will provide technical application support for quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) instruments and reagents, as well as accurately record pertinent information from customer contacts in our Customer Relationship Management system and assist in the development of continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in molecular biology and experience working with qPCR technology. The candidate should be fluent in English and have a good understanding of European languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical application support for qPCR instruments and reagents
• Accurately record pertinent information from customer contacts
• Assist in the development of continuous improvement
• Keep up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements in qPCR technology
• Participate in training on products and continuing education on new applications and technologies

Requirements:

• 2+ years laboratory experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific field, preferably in molecular biology or a related area
• Fluent English plus one of the following: Italian, French or German languages (spoken and written)

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
