We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java/Kotlin Software Professional to join our team at Opus Recruitment Solutions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge fintech solutions and drive innovation in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services utilizing Java and Kotlin.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Utilize AWS services to build and deploy reliable applications.
  • Contribute to frontend development using TypeScript/JavaScript when necessary.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning sessions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share best practices to promote continuous learning and growth within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience with Java and Kotlin development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
  • Solid understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript for frontend development.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members of diverse backgrounds.
