Job Title: SEN Teacher Autism

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher Autism to join our team at Impact Teachers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a progressive school that provides a caring environment for autistic children and young people.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a range of abilities and catering to the broad needs of their students. They will collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure students continuously challenge themselves to improve.

Responsibilities
  • Work with students with autism spectrum disorder to develop their skills and confidence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the needs of students
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to share student progress and achievements
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Proven classroom experience or training
