Serco is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing engineering projects within the healthcare sector, ensuring their successful completion on time and within budget.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering projects, from initiation to closure. This includes developing project plans, coordinating resources, tracking progress, and mitigating risks. You will also be responsible for communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that everyone is kept informed of project status and any potential issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the execution of engineering projects, adhering to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project status, budget performance, and key milestones for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of building services, mechanical and electrical systems design.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
