Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Client Relationship Manager to join our France Benelux region team at Moody's. This role is a key contributor to our commercial success and involves maintaining and extending existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of existing accounts across various sectors, including corporates, financial institutions, and regional local government entities.
  • Deepen existing relationships by delivering a tailored value proposition to existing issuers and capturing price and growing the share of wallet.
  • Ensure an opportunity to bid for close to 100% of all x-border debt issuances of allocated issuers.
  • Contribute to the annual strategic planning process for France Benelux by assessing the vulnerability of relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Represent the Relationship Management team at internal meetings with the analytical team and other departments where applicable.
  • Guide and support junior members of the relationship management team to facilitate professional development and efficiency.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of capital markets, key characteristics and dynamics of capital and credit markets globally, and specific nuances of France Benelux.
  • Strong communication skills, effective at communicating with all levels at customer meetings, and ability to articulate and explain Moody's value proposition convincingly and unscripted.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to defend pricing, contracts, and renewal terms.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time across the region to meet with existing clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Undergraduate / First Level degree (or equivalent) and ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience from the rating industry or debt capital markets or extensive experience in the financial services industry.
  • Very good communication skills orally and written, excellent team player, and business fluency in French and English essential, fluency in other European Languages are a plus.
