We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Transport team at The Delivery Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 1 HGV in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, representing The Delivery Group Limited with a professional attitude and behavior at all times.
  • Transport and deliver goods safely and on time, meeting all deadlines and adhering to local legislative requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with other Transport Drivers and colleagues throughout the company, promoting teamwork and setting an example of attitude and performance.
  • Ensure all vehicle pre-operational checks are completed to a high standard before driving, and report any defects immediately.
  • Perform manual handling in a safe manner, avoiding harm to yourself and others.
  • Secure loads effectively, ensuring they are within weight limits and properly tied down.
Requirements:
  • Full clean UK driving license (or a maximum of 6 points may be considered).
  • Completed CPC.
  • A current UK-issued digital tachograph card.
  • Good interpersonal skills, relevant regulated driving experience, and full knowledge and compliance of Road Transport Legislation.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
