We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at David Lloyd Leisure. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional service to our members, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality meals to meet the expectations of our members.
  • Ensure that food hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and recipes, working closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that food is prepared to a high standard.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
