About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Infrastructure Technician to join our team at Nextech Group Ltd. As an IT Infrastructure Technician, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional support to colleagues using your extensive experience with IT Service Desk tools.

You will be responsible for utilising deep knowledge of IT/Cyber security practices to identify and address security threats and breaches effectively.

You will also apply proven experience in IT resource planning to optimise our IT infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Infrastructure Support: Deliver exceptional support to colleagues using extensive experience with IT Service Desk tools.
  2. Security Management: Utilise deep knowledge of IT/Cyber security practices to identify and address security threats and breaches effectively.
  3. Resource Optimisation: Apply proven experience in IT resource planning to optimise our IT infrastructure.
  4. Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, control, and mitigate operational risks with a strategic approach.

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficient in managing Microsoft Active Directory, Share Point, Exchange Server, and Office 365 (including Microsoft Teams).
  2. Experienced in MS Windows 10 desktop and application support.
  3. Skilled in the support and configuration of tablets, laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  4. Competent in using Remote Control Software/VPN and basic network troubleshooting.

Salary: Up to £32,000. Location: Cumbria - Carlisle / Penrith.
