Plant Engineering Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our CAPEX projects at the Andover site. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing CAPEX projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement CAPEX projects, including project scope, costing, resources, and timings.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, including Health and Safety at Work Act and ISO9001.
- Liaise and report to the corporate Engineering team on project status and best practices.
- Support the team with CAPEX projects that close out audit findings and CAPA.
- Lead internal and external visits and audits of the site with respect to CAPEX projects.
- Support the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars for Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Preventative Maintenance (PM).
- Drive cultural change and promote TPM operational excellence.
- Participate in the management of the building, including actions that impact the reputation, integrity, performance, and profitability of the SC building team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in production, process, industrial engineering function leading CAPEX projects.
- Good understanding of Engineering practices and solutions to problems.
- Knowledge of TPM principles and methodology.
- Able to work under his/her own initiative.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and man management skills.
- High standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Ability and willingness to be flexible with working hours at short notice.
- Communicating and presenting data effectively.
- Good knowledge of health and safety at work act, ISO9001 regulations (experience with GMP would be ideal).
- Leadership, strength of proposal, and conviction.
- Capable to innovate and to challenge the status quo.
- Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, EQMS, and AutoCAD.
