Education Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SEN English Teacher to join our team in a specialist school located in Westbury. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in January.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD) and Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop a sequenced curriculum that builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points.
- Monitor student progress, providing systematic and effective support to ensure timely interventions.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Experience teaching English and working with young people in an SEN environment.
- Passion for social and emotional wellbeing of children.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: £22,560 - £31,600 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 3:30, term time only.
