Maintenance Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Mintlaw. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and attending breakdown repairs on various manufacturing equipment and machinery.

This is a site-based role that requires a mechanically biased engineer with a background in servicing and maintenance or a qualified engineer willing to learn and take on high-quality training.

The successful candidate will work a rotating shift pattern (Earlies, Lates, and Nights) and will be expected to provide excellent maintenance and repair services to ensure the smooth operation of our client's manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and service machines on the site
  • Attend breakdown repairs and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical)
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and machinery
  • Ability to work a rotating shift pattern (Earlies, Lates, and Nights)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
