Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Engineer to join our team at Magnopus, an experience-focused technology company. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our build and integration pipelines.

Working closely with our cross-disciplinary team, you will leverage your expertise in CI/CD systems, build environments, and version control tools to streamline both internal development and external project delivery. Your contributions will help us achieve our mission of bridging the physical and digital divide, enabling the creation of interconnected experiences for clients and contributing to the broader spatial internet ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation Expertise
    • Automate builds with CI/CD systems like TeamCity, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions, and script with Python and batch scripts.
  • Status Updates and Communication
    • Communicate build statuses, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Pipeline Optimization
    • Evaluate and optimize the build pipeline to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Technical Solutions
    • Identify and implement solutions to technical challenges, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Requirements
  • Expert-Level Automation Skills
    • Expert-level experience with Python for automation and scripting.
  • Additional Requirements
    • Familiarity with Unreal Engine and Unity-based build pipelines.
    • Experience with Jira for project management and issue tracking.
