Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated Band 7 Community Respiratory Physiotherapist to join a dedicated healthcare team in Somerset. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional community work required in the Bridgwater, Wells, and West Mendip areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, managing, and providing rehabilitation for patients with a variety of respiratory conditions. This will involve delivering care remotely while maintaining regular communication with patients and colleagues, as well as occasionally attending community-based visits to assess patients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and managing patients with respiratory conditions
  • Providing rehabilitation and education to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes
  • Developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation programs for respiratory patients

Requirements:
  • Significant experience in Respiratory Physiotherapy, ideally at a Band 7 level
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload remotely
  • Strong communication skills and experience in delivering patient care in the community
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for community visits (occasional travel)

Salary: £25-£28 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Somerset (Bridgwater, Wells, and West Mendip)
Contract: Ongoing, Full-time (Part-time considered)
