About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our team at RPS Group. As a key member of our Acoustics Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality acoustic consultancy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their acoustic needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct noise and vibration assessments, measurements, and calculations to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement acoustic design specifications for various projects.
  • Manage projects within agreed budgets and deliver results within specified timelines.
  • Provide technical reviews and support to colleagues and clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical knowledge of environmental acoustics, noise and vibration assessment, and computer modeling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in IT, including mapping, acoustic modeling, and AutoCAD.
  • A degree in a relevant subject, such as Acoustics or Physics, and a strong understanding of current methods, legislation, and standards.
