Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Methods Business and Digital Technology Limited. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications and services.
  • Implement security controls and monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our infrastructure and processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using IaC tools.
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks such as NCSC and GDS.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and ELK.
  • Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and resource management.
