Job Title: Intermediate Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Laboratory Technician to join our Coloration QC team at Colorifix Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing tests and evaluating color on textiles dyed using our technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess the quality of our products
  2. Follow Standard Operating Procedures to perform routine laboratory work
  3. Perform color fastness testing on dyed samples
  4. Evaluate the color of bulk samples
  5. Troubleshoot textile/dyeing related issues
  6. Produce high-quality records and reports
  7. Manage fabric samples and databases
  8. Communicate effectively with the team
Requirements:
  1. Degree in a relevant scientific or textile discipline
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting or quality assurance of textiles
  3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  4. Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  5. Good communication skills and teamwork
  6. Proficiency in using computers and databases
  7. Interest in textiles or natural dyeing
  8. Ability to pass color discrimination testing
  9. Knowledge of good laboratory safety practice
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience using spectrophotometer software for textiles
  2. Knowledge of ISO 105 and AATCC color fastness methods
  3. Experience with Notion
  4. Knowledge of color theory or willingness to learn
  5. Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving
