Principal/Senior Character Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Senior Character Artist to join our team at NaturalMotion Studios. As a key member of our Art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, iconic characters for our competitive arena combat game, Star Wars: Hunters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside other Art team members and Leads to create new, original Star Wars characters and seasonally released cosmetics.
  • Responsible for asset creation and maintaining pipelines for Character modeling, ensuring all work maintains the existing art style and raises the quality bar.
  • Collaborate with concept, animation, and technical art teams to create production-quality assets.
  • Manage day-to-day tasks and provide additional support for the character team.
  • Participate in character production, tools, and pipeline development to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
  • Run art-related meetings and provide critical feedback to peers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in AAA quality Character Art in a Senior/Principal level role.
  • Expert knowledge of character design, art, and culture.
  • Excellent skills in ZBrush, Max, or Maya, Substance, and Photoshop.
  • Expertise working in Unreal Engine.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Star Wars brand.
  • Experience working on a Live Service game.
