Special Needs Support Worker

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in Special Needs Schools around Nuneaton. This role involves working 1:1 with children who have challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD, and other special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 behaviour support to pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN requirements
- Managing and implementing appropriate structures to manage challenging behaviour
- Acting as a positive role model and providing nurture support
- Providing numeracy and literacy booster sessions out of the classroom
- De-escalating heightened and volatile situations
- Supporting across Primary and Secondary phases
- Ensuring you read about the child's requirements
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Check – Must be on the update service
• 2x References are a must in order to clear your file with GSL Education

This is a Temp role but will become permanent for the right candidate.
