Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing plant. Your expertise in fault-finding, rewiring, and PLC exposure will be essential in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing plant.
  2. Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  3. Collaborate with the production team to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production schedules.
  4. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  5. Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  1. NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  2. Electrical Qualification (e.g., City & Guilds).
  3. Proven experience working in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
  4. Hands-on experience with conveyors, belts, gearboxes, pumps, and water systems.
