Senior Microsoft Azure Technical Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Azure Technical Consultant to join our team at Henderson Scott Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising clients on transforming their organizations through the use of modern technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre-sales support and conduct technical discovery sessions with potential clients to understand their infrastructure and technology requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of proposed solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and solution designs.
  • Provide technical expertise during client meetings and calls.
  • Assist in estimating project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
Infrastructure Assessment and Design:
  • Evaluate client's existing IT infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Analyse data and diagnose issues to identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and risks.
  • Design hybrid cloud, virtualisation, and other infrastructure solutions to meet client needs.
Implementation and Delivery:
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to plan and execute infrastructure projects.
  • Contribute to the implementation and configuration of solutions such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and VMware.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the rollout of new technologies.
  • Train client staff on the use of new systems, processes, and IT tools.
Ongoing Support and Optimization:
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain and optimize storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Conduct regular system health checks and performance audits.
  • Update documentation and procedures as needed.

Required qualifications include proven experience in a infrastructure IT or technology consulting role, proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services, experience with VMware vSphere and other virtualization technologies, strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
