As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day running of our busy depot, ensuring the smooth delivery of our services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Coordination: Provide leadership and coordination of day-to-day transport operations, including dispatch debriefs and work-in-progress for chilled and ambient operations.
  • Customer Relations: Work closely with our customers to ensure the smooth running of operations, managing and de-briefing drivers, and handling customer queries via email, phone, and face-to-face.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage and maintain accurate records, produce KPIs and daily statistics, and perform a range of associated administrative duties.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively as part of a team, communicating at all levels, and demonstrating a flexible approach to work.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a good working knowledge of traffic management systems.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, prioritizing workload, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Education and Training: MS packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: £31,000pa to £33,000pa, depending on experience.
  • Working Hours: 19:00hrs to 05:00hrs, Monday to Friday.
