SEMH Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEMH teacher to join our dedicated team at our Barnstaple site. This is a permanent position, offering a supportive environment where each child is encouraged to thrive.

The school provides exceptional support for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, fostering an inclusive environment. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of students who require additional emotional and behavioural support.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working with SEMH/SEN students
  • Strong classroom management skills with an empathetic approach
  • Ability to differentiate learning to meet individual needs
  • Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
