Our client, a leading engineering solutions provider, is seeking a skilled Process and Materials Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and manufacturing lightweight material technologies for the aerospace sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the technical aspects of material and product usage to meet customer, organizational, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct research and testing to validate the performance of materials and products.
- Approve drawings and manufacturing documentation related to materials.
- Develop, maintain, and utilize a database for materials, products, and contacts.
- An engineering background with a focus on chemistry disciplines, including materials technology (polymers), risk analysis, material properties, and physics.
- Experience working in a production or laboratory setting.
- Strong report writing abilities.
- Familiarity with research methodologies.
