Job Title: Nursing Auxiliary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Auxiliary to join our team at NHS Fife. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist nursing staff in providing patient care and support
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Support patient flow through the department and onto other clinical areas
  • Participate in venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, and baseline monitoring
  • Develop and maintain effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • Interest in acute medicine and medical conditions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workloads in a busy environment
  • Flexibility to work various shift patterns
  • Basic IT skills
  • Knowledge of infection control precautions and health and safety
