We're seeking a highly skilled Technical SEO Specialist to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Job Summary:

The Technical SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing technical SEO strategies for our clients, ensuring their online presence is optimized for search engines. This role will involve working closely with our web development team to build websites with SEO in mind, administering search engine programs, and conducting technical SEO audits and site migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical SEO strategies for clients, ensuring their online presence is optimized for search engines.
  • Work closely with our web development team to build websites with SEO in mind, ensuring they are technically sound and search engine friendly.
  • Administer search engine programs, including XML sitemaps and webmaster tools, to monitor and diagnose issues.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits, site migrations, and new site build recommendations to improve client online presence.
  • Have accountability for technical SEO recommendations and prioritizations for clients and developers.
  • Regular communication with clients and developers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, best practices, and algorithm updates to ensure our clients' online presence remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar technical SEO role, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of technical SEO, including on-page markup, URL structure, redirect strategies, and structured markup.
  • Good understanding of common coding languages, such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and experience working with web development teams.
  • Experience with a range of CMS systems, including WordPress, Magento, and Shopify.
  • Experience in managing site migrations, including premigration, migration, and post-migration planning and support.
  • Deep understanding of Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, as well as log analyzers to monitor and diagnose issues.
  • Excellent knowledge of SEO tools, such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Ahrefs, and Majestic.
  • Excellent level of Google Analytics knowledge.
  • Good analytical skills to interpret data and communicate it to clients.
