Vehicle Repair Technician with Diagnostic Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Repair Technician to join our team at Apollo Servicing and Repairs, based in the Wroxton area of Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair principles.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, with experience in electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing. Additionally, they will have a solid understanding of modern vehicle systems, including timing belts, clutches, and other essential components.
About the Role:
- As a Vehicle Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- You will also be expected to diagnose complex faults and provide recommendations for repair, utilizing your knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic tools.
- Furthermore, you will be required to maintain accurate records of work performed, ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer standards.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using your initiative to resolve complex problems.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment and a solid understanding of modern vehicle systems.
- Fully competent in the use of hand and power tools, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Compensation Package:
- An attractive salary range of £30,000 to £42,500 per year, depending on experience.
