Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Lead Child Care Professional to join our team in Brighton and Hove. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioral challenges during overnight shifts.

As a Lead Child Care Professional, your primary focus will be on promoting independence and life skills while prioritizing their safety and wellbeing. You will work closely with a dedicated home manager, supporting a small group of up to 4 children or young people during your overnight shifts.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with special needs or in childcare, education, family support settings. A Level 3 NVQ in health and social care is desirable but not essential. We are committed to investing in our staff's development and provide comprehensive training in therapeutic approaches and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working with children with special needs or in childcare, education, family support settings.
  • Strong commitment and desire to bring about positive change in the lives of children and young people in care.
  • Level 3 NVQ in health and social care desirable.
