Job Title: Mobile HVAC Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning/Chiller Engineer to provide operational support to our North West & North East regions.

Key Responsibilities:

To proactively deliver engineering tasks received, including maintenance and service visits to a variety of equipment, such as Splits, VRF systems, CRAC units, and associated controls.

Carrying out service and reactive breakdown cover in normal working hours.

Participating in Out of Hours work and Standby Rota.

Observing internal and client support functions to meet the requirements and objectives of our customers and our business.

Ensuring that the engineering tasks received are carried out professionally.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Must demonstrate the appropriate technical competencies and certificates relevant to the skills required, including 2079 Refrigerant handling.

Successfully completed a recognised training course in Refrigeration & air conditioning, or provides evidence of the equivalent work experience.

A good base knowledge and experience of maintenance & service duties on VRF systems as well as medium to large tonnage chillers.

Proven knowledge of CRAC Units, Air conditioning Splits & Cassettes, VRV/VRF systems from all major manufacturers.

Knowledge on refrigeration scroll and screw compressors, large central plant chilled water systems from Carrier, York, McQuay, Climaveneta, Daikin, Trane, J&E Hall, GEA etc would be advantageous but not essential.

Ability to work in a team or alone depending on the task.
