As a Research Analyst at Chambers and Partners, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic research process.

You will engage in thorough interview techniques to gather valuable insights from clients and lawyers, contributing to the creation of accurate ranking tables.

Key responsibilities include meticulous analysis of interviews and submissions, taking ownership of assigned sections, and collaborating with the Research Manager to discuss and finalize findings.

With a strong academic background and fluency in German, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting background research to understand assigned practice areas and jurisdictions.
  • Determining which lawyers to contact for interview, with the support of the Research Manager.
  • Accurately logging communications and continually assessing research progression.
  • Pursuing research leads gained via materials provided by the Chambers team or through your own research.
  • Building relationships with key market participants.

In the analysis phase, you will:

  • Analyze data collected during research to create accurate and impartial ranking tables.
  • Develop an understanding of assigned jurisdictions and practice areas through interviews and desk research.
  • Seek out and act upon new developments and opportunities for expansion in your areas of responsibility.
  • Produce informative, business-focused editorials for the Chambers website.
  • Meet editorial deadlines and write internal reports at the end of research phases to direct future research.
