Responsibilities:

  • Carry out pre-use vehicle checks to ensure safety.
  • Follow instructed procedure for loading and unloading items.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
  • Follow procedures for deliveries at the customer premises.
  • Complete daily route as instructed.

Requirements:

  • Category B licence held for minimum of 2 years.
  • No more than 6 points on licence.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle unexpected situations.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed.
  • A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving.

This position requires a reliable and dedicated individual to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations.

Key Skills:

Working Hours:

This position will require the successful candidate to work Monday to Friday (min 8 hours per shift) and Saturday mornings (hours worked).
